Currently owned by Willis Broadcasting
spawning from WBTE AM 990 in Windsor NC.
TX location is in between Ahoskie and Windsor NC, so that adequate signals would reach Williamston, Elizabeth City, Edenton.
Class A supposed to be 3Kw
Its typical of that of any Willis station, taken to the radio junkyard.
Simulcasts WBXB. or whenever tropo opens up - WCMS
Been off the air for about 3-4 years before it showed up on the dial again
Anyone has access to the station with a hammer and crowbar..when you're done inside...just hammer the nails back to the door and you're done!
ERP is probrably less than 50 watts
The orignial transmitter blew up (due to poor SWR) and a 300 watt transmitter was put in is place, putting out LESS power than the exiter its connected to (due to SWR)

this is about Willis at its best, if anyone buys this station from him, they will have to put up new antenna's coax, transmitters, studios..etc.
